Bible truth reveals that Jesus was crucified on a Wednesday, the date was Nisan 15.  He had to be placed into the tomb BEFORE Sunset, which is by Jewish custom 6 PM—which is the beginning of a new day. (The Jewish day begins at sunset 6 PM, the day begins at 6 AM, the beginning of sunrise to sunset.  This is the completion of a 24-hour day.)
